As a result of EAL Assessment Funding (2017-18 and 2018-19) Prairie Spirit School Division created a condensed version of the CFR by grade levels based on the Reading and Writing Rubrics created by Saskatoon Public School Division as part of their EAL Assessment Funding project.
The documents in this folder are user-friendly and can be used by all teachers for the purposes of assessment, reporting to parents, and directing their teaching practice.
Prairie Spirit hosted a free webinar for all educators on the practical use of the condensed CFR (Common Framework of Reference). This webinar included a variety of tips on how to best use the CFR for lesson planning, assessment and reporting to parents.
